Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is home to the Society Orchestra, comprised of loyal and talented musicians who, for the past twenty years, have entertained and delighted guests of Walt Disney World’s flagship resort.
I was privileged to spend a week at the Grand Floridian with my Aunt Patti, celebrating her third year surviving multifocal papillary thyroid cancer. Her father, Sgt. Joseph J. Pasda, USAF, visited the Grand with us in 1998 and one night, I requested his favorite songs from the Society Orchestra. Grandpa passed on April 8, 2006, and this request of “PA6-5000″ was a tribute to his memory and love of life.
